A December to Remember

This is a new class I am teaching on the 12th.  It's a flexible Christmas album-- there is plenty of space to do a photo a day for December (a la Ali Edwards), or to give as a holiday album, or to record all of your holiday memories.  If you are like me, I always MEAN to document more of the holidays-- traditions, decorations, baking cookies-- but never actually manage to do it.  So with this little album ready to go, and lots of journalling and photo prompts to remind me what to record, I am hoping this is the year I will actually do it!!

           

And the November "Sweet Treats" kit is now available in the store...tons of Vintage fall themed goodies, perfect for some holiday thankful-ness.....

The Travel Book is Back!

Tah-da!  Version 2.0 of the infamous travel book is back!!!!  New papers, but lots of cool interactive pages, and still some tags!!!  If you missed it last year,this class was loved by all who took it, and endured one day plus of grueling scrapping!   But totally worth it--- definitely a WOW album.

Class will be on September 20-- plan on a full day.  There are already 5 people signed up (without a sample!) and space will be limited, so don't dawdle!!!  (Excuse any typos, my keyboard is not working unless I slam the keys down!!!!)

If you are signed up, here are some good things to bring:

Scissors, paper trimmer, pokey tool, Tea Dye Distress Ink (not necessary, but if you have it you won't have to wait to share), ADHESIVE-- I went through a bottle of zip dry and a refill of tape runner (plus)--, pop dots and/or glue dots, and you may like your xyron for little pieces.  And a sponge or cut-n-dry foam for inking (softer look).  Rub on tool (I love Basic Grey's) and scoring tool if you have them- we will use them.  Again, ADHESIVE is the only mandatory thing, but as this is a long class, having your own tools will eliminate having to wait to share. 

OK-- my computer is abut to be chucked through the window-- now it won't let me insert a photo!!!  ARGH!!!!  I will try again after I reboot!

Upcoming Class

I should have posted this before I left for CHA, but I just plain ran out of time.  This is a class I am teaching this week on Thursday, a fun little vacation album.  I can't wait to print some photos from California to add to this little baby.  (And if the "08" doesn't work for you, no worries, we can use whatever numbers work for you.)

Summertime

Just wanted to show off a little book I will be teaching at Paper Tales on the 20th.  It's a fun little summertime book, perfect for all those pictures you took this summer.  I think I might actually use this as a gift--- perfect maybe for someone you went to the cottage with this summer, or spent the 4th with (and a great way to start checking holiday gifts off your list!!!!)

Upcoming Classes

Just thought I would share some of my upcoming classes.  If you want to see more photos, check out the photo album titled "classes" on the left.

Dinosaur box/book - I LOVE this one.  I just think the dino is so darned cute!!!!  And after a little lesson in shaker boxes from Deb, it turned out so cute--- there is "dirt", a pick, and a little skeleton dino head in the shaker. (The class in May 31st) Click here to see more photos

The next class has been a huge labor of love, and at points I did not think I would ever finish it, but I did and I am really pleased with how it turned out.  I did it as a travel album for our trip to Paris last year, but it can also be done as just a shabby chic vintage feel album -- there are three travel quotes, but I have some quotes about memories if you prefer.  The 7Gypsies double page album is so much fun to play with-- I think I may have to do another one for our pictures of Amsterdam and Belgium!!!!  This is one of those books you really have to see in person to appreciate-- lots of pockets and things that open and such.  (The class is June 2nd and it will be a long one!) This last one is a girl friends ribbon accordian album - it's a fun little book to make, and easily re-producable.  This one has some "sassy" quotes, but I also have more sentimental quotes available (we're all about the OPTIONS.)  I think this would be a great graduation or birthday gift.
