Thank you to the beautiful ladies who created these amazing pieces of art-- you have no idea how much fun it is to wander the show and see you daughter up in these booths (and Ranger was a total surprise-- I was definitely not expecting that!!!!!)   And thanks to Melissa Diekema who took the photos of Erin last year - your work is well loved.

This is how we feel about Santa Claus...

Wary, suspicious...

which, all things considered, is far better than what happens when we get into the same room as Santa---

Not really a fan of Santa this year.  So much that we can not even get a really good crying shot.  Trust me, I have tried three times, I am done torturing my daughter for this year.

When it was a tad bit warmer....

...and  we could still play outside.....like a week ago!  I am not one for the bitter cold (and crazy winds today!).  So enjoy a few of the beebs....

Happy Halloween from the wee one and us!!!!!  She has been very hard to photograph lately, but I wanted to show how cute she looked as the little pirate!!!  And I am very proud of that costume, which mom helped me sew!!!!  Arrrrrrrrrrrrr............

Fairy Doors

We needed a little adventure today, so we took a wee family outing to Ann Arbor.  We played a little at the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum, and then we had a little lunch at Arbor Brewing (DH and I were among the original crew there), and then we went on a hunt for fairy doors.  And find them we did!!!!  If you are in Ann Arbor, you simply must check them out.  Even DH, who thought they were going to be a waste of time, really got into it and thought they were very cool.  You can find out more here: Urban Fairies

   

Erin Walking

Erin is now a little walker-- she walks about 75% of the time, and more and more each day. Crazy how fast she is growing into this little kid!!!!
