(Belated) Birth Announcement
It has taken a week, but just in case, we welcomed Samantha Clare on Saturday, April 18th at 2:47 pm. She decided to pick her own birthday, we got to the hospital about 10am, the epidural worked this time (hurrah!!!), and other than her unexpected large size (9 lbs 13 oz - they even re-zeroed the scale and re-weighed her) Mama and Baby did just fine. Better birthing through chemistry.
Erin ADORES her baby sister and will sit and hold her for 30-45 minutes at a time, and only gets mad when she CAN'T hold her-- how sweet is that?! And to hear her say "I love Samantha Clare" will melt your heart.
