As a side note, she was completely happy and content to watch Santa and the other kids, but the reality of getting close to him was too much to bear I guess. But there is obviously something wrong with me, since I still love this picture.
And, per Dad's request, previous experiences with Santa:
Just a couple of quick holiday projects that I have been meaning to share.
First are some covered notepads I made for the teachers at Erin's school-- I think they turned out really cute, and made entirely possible through the magic of the paper drill.
And I love these little reindeer ornaments, made in the shape of Erin's hands and feet. Caroline from Maya Road made these first and totally inspired me! See Caroline's here.
And in other news, my camera, which has been in repairland since OCTOBER 21st (you know how this kills me), has been promised to me by Christmas Eve. Let's keep our fingers crossed they are right.
And since I appear to be snowed in this morning, I thought I might actually find a moment to post.
I hope this one is not slightly blasphemous, but the church had an open house with lots of events for the wee ones, including a chance to play dress up in the nativity. View the results for yourself.

So, this year we did not have Santa terror, instead a watchful wariness. But we will try again on Sunday, so we will see how that goes. And Calliope got a major haircut right after this so she looks nothing like this picture.
