Happy Halloween to everyone from our little bumblebee(s)-- Calliope actually has a bumblebee costume too, but we have yet to get a decent picture of her!!!

 

Scrap Pink Silent Auction

Just a reminder that the Scrap Pink Auction items are ready to go in the store-- bidding starts now and runs through Sunday.  There are some great items here-- lots of mini books, card packs, gift baskets of maya road, making memories, and fiskars products, and even a weekend at a scrapbook retreat!!!  100% of the money raised goes to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, so you can feel good about what you bid for your goodies!!!  The other cool thing is the opening bids are super low-- some as low as $2, so you don't even have to spend a lot!!!!!

Sheep and Wool Festival

So, I read in the paper a couple of weeks ago about a little festival north of Romeo called the Sheep and Wool Festival.  Well, since I love sheep, we had to investigate.  And turns out, it was the perfest Sunday adventure for us.  Erin loved the sheep getting "a haircut", the sheepdog demonstrations (loved that the border collie jumped into his water as soon as he was done), and she loved "fancy apples" (make you own caramel apples- though she hated the caramel).  It's small, but for wee ones it was perfect.
