The Travel Book is Back!

Tah-da!  Version 2.0 of the infamous travel book is back!!!!  New papers, but lots of cool interactive pages, and still some tags!!!  If you missed it last year,this class was loved by all who took it, and endured one day plus of grueling scrapping!   But totally worth it--- definitely a WOW album.

Class will be on September 20-- plan on a full day.  There are already 5 people signed up (without a sample!) and space will be limited, so don't dawdle!!!  (Excuse any typos, my keyboard is not working unless I slam the keys down!!!!)

If you are signed up, here are some good things to bring:

Scissors, paper trimmer, pokey tool, Tea Dye Distress Ink (not necessary, but if you have it you won't have to wait to share), ADHESIVE-- I went through a bottle of zip dry and a refill of tape runner (plus)--, pop dots and/or glue dots, and you may like your xyron for little pieces.  And a sponge or cut-n-dry foam for inking (softer look).  Rub on tool (I love Basic Grey's) and scoring tool if you have them- we will use them.  Again, ADHESIVE is the only mandatory thing, but as this is a long class, having your own tools will eliminate having to wait to share.

New in store...

Well, first things first: BASIC GREY is in the store!!!!!  HOORAY!!!!!  They are doing a split ship this time-- so Eva, Offbeat, and Ambrosia paper and fibers are in now.........the other 2 paper lines (granola and urban prairie) and embellishments will be in later (I think early September).  As always, they are hoard-worthy.

Other news...I actually have 2 samples in the store--- yes, me!!!  Slow scrapper that I am, there are three samples in the store (and I am working as fast as I can on that travel album, I promise!!!!)

First, there is the Butterfly book, coming up at the end of the month.  Sweet little 6x6 with Little Yellow Bicycle papers.  I started it thinking it would be a "Butterfly Kisses" book, but then it was just too limiting, so I went with no title and very little theme-- so it really can be whatever you want.  A book about little girls, friends, father and daughters, mothers and daughters, a trip to a butterfy garden-- really, the option are endless!

Second, is Sweet Sweet Summer at the begining of September.  Again, a little 6x6 blackboard album with some fun K&Co papers-- just right for all of the sweet summertime pictures that need a home!!!  This one would also be a cute gift album for someone you spent time with this summer.

And third, the Dog House!!!  A cute Maya Road bungalow turned into a doghouse with mini album inside-- just right for our newest addition, Calliope!!!!!  If you have a puppy, I dare you to resist the cuteness!!!

Introducing Calliope!

Here she is, our newly adopted mutt!!!  Calliope is 8 weeks old (born on my birthday), learning to be housetrained, and follows at our heels-- just about as sweet and cuddly as can be.  Her mom is a terrier mutt, but they have no clue who her dad is, but the siblings look more like labs.  Let's just call her a Heinz57.  Erin says "I love her" and wants to hold her and brings her all of the puppy toys.  And Ken is just thrilled to FINALLY have a puppy - especially one that already fetches tennis balls!
