ScrapPink this weekend!!!

Don't forget ScrapPink is this weekend--- it's a nation-wide crop for breast cancer--- $10  of your daily crop fee will go towards Susan G Komen -- and we have so much more fun stuff planned!!!!  Several Companies have been extremely generous in providing donations for prizes and goodie bags. Just a little teaser:

• A different goodie bag each day-- including donations from EK Success, Heidi Grace (including 2 of her glitter papers!!!!), Meri Meri, SEI, Maya Road, and more!
• Prizes throughout the day, with donations from Making Memories, K&Co, and more!!
• First 40 croppers to sign up receive a special gift from Paper Tales and Tinkering Ink
• Food every day from local restaurants, pop and as always, pretzels and chocolate (and I think a couple of teachers might even provide some homemade treats!!!!!)
• Massage therapist providing chair massages onsite!!!!!  $1 a minute, and a portion of that she will donate to Komen as well (I am so all over this one!!!!)
• And our silent auction-- we are so excited about this one.  We will be donating 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction to Susan G Komen (so it's totally tax deductible for you--- bid early and bid often!!!!!)  We we be raffling off some great projects from our fantastic teachers-- you do NOT want to miss this.  And even cooler--- we have been able to secure 4 RED WINGS TICKETS AND VIP PARKING!!!!!!!   How cool is that?!?!?!

So, this is definitely an event you do not want to miss out on.  You can crop all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or just one day, or just Friday evening--- how cool is that?!?!  There is still space available (though I think Saturday is almost full!!!) so sign up now for this fantastic event.  And if you can't make it to crop?  Stop in this week to bid on our silent auction--- it will be up Tuesday, and run through Sunday.  You can even call in a later bid if you want.  And our opening bids will be very reasonable, we want everyone to be able to participate!!!

Fairy Doors

We needed a little adventure today, so we took a wee family outing to Ann Arbor.  We played a little at the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum, and then we had a little lunch at Arbor Brewing (DH and I were among the original crew there), and then we went on a hunt for fairy doors.  And find them we did!!!!  If you are in Ann Arbor, you simply must check them out.  Even DH, who thought they were going to be a waste of time, really got into it and thought they were very cool.  You can find out more here: Urban Fairies

   

SO much new stuff....

There are so many boxes arriving daily, we don't even begin to know where to put it, and mom is nearly pulling her hair out!!!!  But the really cool stuff is already starting to disappear, (I saw there were only one package left of the rain dot ghosts last night), so don't wait to long to start shopping.......

Here's what I know came in this week:

• Heidi Grace--- the new Halloween is so stinkin' cute
• Cloud 9 - the halloween is the best they have even done, and the halloween rain dot ghosts ans bats are just the cutest things ever-- and they also made rain dot letters and numbers and flowers
• Prima - new papers (including the water color paper) and lots of new flowers and really well priced bling
• K&Co Halloween and Christmas - "frothed" bats and the Christmas line may just be my favorite so far
• Making Memories - running neck and neck with K&Co as my favorite Christmas line of the moment-- it's actually two spearate lines, and they definitely have done it again
• Reminisce - birthday lines, and a really awesome boy line, and there is another line too I can't think of the name of the ohter one, but it's a fun "doodle-y" type style
• Fontwerks - new stamps, paper, and cute Christmas paper
• Creative Imaginations is in the house!!!! It may not be out just yet, but we are working on it!!!!
• American Crafts-- new papers, thickers, rubons, albums--- HUGE amount of new stuff here!!!! We were just unpacking it last night, so I can't wait to play with this stuff!!!
• Ranger - the new stickles colors are in!!!!! And I am predicting right now that they won't last long!
• Rusty Pickle - the pink pirates are in!!!!  And new halloween and family papers
• Art Institute glitter has arrived--- I think this should be on the floor by Monday if not sooner.  We have to find a spot for the rack!!!!

I am sure there is stuff I am forgetting, but it gives you a general idea of all of the cool new stuff that is arriving every day right now!!!!!!!!!!!

Summertime

Just wanted to show off a little book I will be teaching at Paper Tales on the 20th.  It's a fun little summertime book, perfect for all those pictures you took this summer.  I think I might actually use this as a gift--- perfect maybe for someone you went to the cottage with this summer, or spent the 4th with (and a great way to start checking holiday gifts off your list!!!!)

So much new stuff in the store!

I don't even know where to begin!!!!   Here's a partial list:

• Halloween lines from Reminisce, Making Memories (awesome stuff), K&Co (check out the "frothed" bats), Heidi Grace (I am in love with the candy corn - it just makes me happy), and Cloud 9
• Christmas lines are already arriving-- crazy, isn't it?!?!?!  We have  Melissa Frances, Moxxie (hilarious quotes), Anna Griffin, tons of EK Success, and K&Co (I love the Reindeer!!!)  (amking Memories in on its way too!)
• SEI - cat and dog, girly girl, and and brown and orange line that I love (I really should learn the names....)
• Love, Elsie - I think it's Jack and Abby-- it's the one with the supercute houses!!!
• Heidi Grace - in addition to Halloween there is a birthday line, and two fall lines
• A whole big box of new ribbon from May Arts
• Tons of new EK Success - 19 new Disney papers alone (they did a great job with these-- I am not even into princesses and I am thinking about hoarding some of the paper!!!)

I know there is lots more, I just can't think about what it is right now!!!!  So I will leave you with a little photo of my crazy girl......(her latest trick is that when you call her "stinky" she does a little dance-- I guess you have to see it, but it's HI-larious!)
